January 10th 2012: Stomp-workshop with more than 300 8th grade students!!
What´s the upper limit for participants on a stomp-workshop? I´d say: There is no limit! After visiting the 8th grade students of Lillehammer with my stomp-workshop, the project ended with a public concert where 319 students participated at the same time on stage. Click here for a short video
January 2012: I´ve decided to leave Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra
After some years of constantly feeling that I never really get to my own projects, I´ve decided to reduce my activities. I love everything I do, and therefore it was very hard to decide that the Andromeda-family was the thing I needed to quit. Although it was the right thing to do now, I´ll miss the people and the music. Thanks for all the great memories!
An autumn with no time for updates...
In a one man-company, unfortunately tasks some time have to wait very long. I´m not happy to see that updating my homepage belong to these tasks. I want to change this. From now on.
September 2011: Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra is touring in South America

July 2011: Duo-Project with Acid Pauli
Techno/Chill out/amient... Honestly, I cannot really define these words, but coming from an acoustic/instrumental classical/Jazz-background, I´m very fascinated by this music, and therefore also extremely enthusiastic about getting to work with such an important person on the field. Our first show will be at Ritter Butzke in Berlin on August 20th. Adress: Ritterstrasse 24, 10969 Berlin. We will start after Midnight or 1am in the Morning, so the gig is actually rather on the 21st... ;)

June 2011: A change in focus
After five years of countless great memories and very important learning, I decided to end my participation in Transit Room. I simply have too much going on, and at the moment, this band is not representing my main musical focus. It´s hard to see my friends carry on without me -Thanks, guys. I´ll miss touring with you.

Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra performs in the Swimmingpool!
On September 11th at 10:30pm, the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra will play a concert in the former swimhall (!!) of Stattbad Wedding. Before us, the huge Think bigger Orchestra from Austria will play, and after us, there will be a party on the terace and in other parts of this very special concert-place.

A new season has begone!
August 15th: After a very long (!!) vacation, (-at least from writing news releases), I´m back full of new ideas, inspiration and projects. As a very short update for what´s ben going on lately, here´s a short video-clip from on of the Notwist-concerts this summer:

Summer Vacation
June 22nd: For the first time in many years, I´ll have three weeks of summer vacation! I´m looking very much forward to spend a relaxing time with my dear family and friends. Despite the vacation I won´t take a 100% break from the music. There´ll be threee concerts in this period:
July 4th: Notwist, Traumzeit Festival, Duisburg, DE. (Playing just before Pat Metheny Group!)
July 11th: for the yearly churck-concert with James Dickenson in Lillehammer Kirke (NO)

Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra: Report from av very inspiring visit to Kasachstan!
June 17th: After invitation from the Goethe-Insitut (Thank you!!), we had three great days in Almaty where we got to have a lot of great rehersing and social time, putting the band even more together. We also met many inspiring musicians presenting some great traditional instruments from Kasachstan, giving us new inspiration and Ideas. The response from the audience from our concert was also great. Thank you all for listening!

April 26th: In less than one year after our debut-album „Take off!“, we are ready to start the recording of our 2nd CD. We already had some pre-sessions during the fall of 2009, but now we´ll be starting with the real work!

April 25th: Just got back from my first jazzahead in Bremen, full of inspiration and new knowledge about the jazz-business. So many nice and inspirating people on one spot! Thanks, all of you!
